Haven of Thoughts is a personal development and counselling practice, based in Singapore, founded by Karen Foo-Evers.

Karen is an intuitive counsellor and therapist and has been an avid student of humanity and human behaviour since she was a child. Having been a rather tall, voluptuous girl amongst petite willowy peers, precipitated her quest to understand why she was ostracized and the dynamics of human behavior. As early as when she was 17, she was appointed as the school's magazine offical agony aunt columnist during her studies in England. She then went on to study psychology at Syracuse University, New York, where she was appointed as peer counsellor for international students and local American students. She graduated in 1993 acquiring her psychology degree and already a veteran counsellor.

Upon her return to Singapore, she moved into the corporate world, having worked for international entrepreneurs in high technology start ups, dealing directly with Consortium boards, CEOs and Ministers of State in various Asian countries. She then moved on to explore her creative side, where she worked and learnt from the international image consultants in the areas of colour analysis, body line analysis and social & business ettiquette. Thereafter, she returned to the corporate world in the area of HR and Talent Attraction and Management. She has worked for various MNCs such as DBS, Standard Chartered Bank ( Local & Global office), First Advantage APAC, Hewlett Packard, Pegasus Solutions and she also had clients such as SMRT, CAAS, PMO, Citibank, DBS, OCBC, Standard and Poors, Bulgari, Panalipina Logistics and UPS. Karen has also been a public advocate and champion of Women of Size in Singapore since 2007.

Haven of Thoughts, is a love child born out of her passion and life path to be an intuitive counsellor, healer of spirituality, emotional well-being and psychosomatic health issues.
